I spent three years inside one of Florida’s toughest women’s prisons. But the moment I stepped behind those gates, I made a choice:
This wasn’t going to break me. It was going to build me. While others counted days, I created purpose.
I rose to leadership, guided new inmates through the brutal reality of Chapter 33 rules, and built a transition course from scratch that gave women behind bars the one thing they weren’t supposed to have: hope. That course?
It became the blueprint for Prison101ED — a reentry movement designed to empower incarcerated individuals from the inside out.
